How to restore a dell optiplex gx150 running xp service pack 2 to factory settings?
I’m trying to restore my partners pc back to its factory settings, now i’ve tried pressing ctrl and f11 but it doesn’t do anything, and i have been pressing it at the right time, but nothing happens. i cant do a system restore because the restore points dont go far back enough. please help!!!!!!
Only problem is dont have any of the system disks 
for this you will need to do 2 things, first of all, any windows XP discs will work, (any relatives that will lend you their’s will do) there should be a code on the outside of the computer you should use, normally at top left hand side, on the right panel when you look at the computer from the front.
secondly, there is 2 ‘buttons’, on sides/top and bottom, depending on which version you have, press these, and Pull the computer open, you should see a round flat battery, on the motherboard (the big circuit board), remove this for 5-10 Min’s, and replace, this resets the bios/cmos settings, now install XP.
